Consult groups provide a forum for leaders to learn and problem-solve with a group of peers. Participants hone their own coaching skills while receiving high-level support and feedback on the difficult issues they face within their organization.
Consult Groups are part roundtable discussion of common issues, and part peer-coaching on individual dilemmas that participants are looking for clarity, ideas and feedback.
Two Types of Consult Groups
Lake Union Consulting Group helps organizations implement consult groups internally with a group peers from within the same organization. Benefits of internal groups include establishing camaraderie, networking and building effective skills that among a group of peers who are coaching and problem solving together.
We also periodically launch consult groups with participants from various organizations looking for an external cadre of peers who they rely on for coaching, ideas and support.
