LUCG was founded by two partners, Nan Stafford Noble and Melissa Williams-Gurian.
Nan Stafford Noble has a Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Coaching and Consulting in Organizations. She has worked with a wide variety of organizations, including clients in health care, manufacturing, software development, environmental engineering, employee benefits, academia, government, not-for-profit services, and many others. She is passionate about helping individuals and teams tap into their greater potential and she is particularly interested in helping her clients make mindful choices about how to provide authentic leadership during times of tension, resistance and ambiguity.
Melissa Williams-Gurian has a Master of Arts in Applied Behavioral Science with an emphasis in Systems Consulting. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has worked with individuals, groups, couples and families in private practice. In addition to her work as a mental health therapist, she has worked with a variety of organizations in achieving business results with people strategies. The diversity of organizations includes manufacturing, academia, not-for-profit, retail, software, government, finance, and healthcare. One of her passions is honoring people’s differences and she devotes personal time to training and educating children, teachers and institutions on diversity. She sits on the executive board of the Anti-Defamation League and participates as a co-chair of the Steinberg Leadership Institute. She is committed to the development of people’s emotional intelligence and tapping into their authentic being.
